On 7 October 2019, the News Impact Summit was in Birmingham to discuss how technological and journalistic innovation is enabling new forms of reporting on the climate and its impact on our lives.
In this summit, we discussed climate change. Among other things, we looked at journalistic projects that use mapping and open source intelligence to link climate and data analysis, also how climate change stories are tackled in the newsroom and how news organisations can produce immersive storytelling that helps the audience understand and appreciate the urgency and complexity of climate change
